🤩BIG NEWS🤩 This year, I've been chosen as one of 17 producers selected for the 4th edition of QEPC’s Producers Mentorship Program!
Now in its fourth year, the initiative provides emerging and mid-career producers with a hybrid program of hands-on mentorship and targeted training sessions as we develop our English-language projects. Running from September through to January 2026, the course will cover such areas as budgeting, financial planning, tax credits, international coproductions, legal frameworks, pitching strategies and market access.
This program has the potential to open some big doors for ExtraNots, and to be seen by broadcasters, distributors and studios in a very big way. Needless to say I'm PUMPED to be a part of it. Thanks again to Quebec English-language Production Council for the opportunity! 🤩

🤩 NEW TALENT ALERT!! 🤩
We officially have a brand new (and MUCH better) voice for Sindee! Introducing the IMMENSLY talented Vassiliki Gicopoulous (Vass for short) who will now be voicing Sindee throughout our series. We recorded her lines for EP4 today and believe me when I say it's A BILLION times better than whatever I was doing.
Vassiliki Gicopoulos is a Montreal based, emerging actor, collaborator and playwright. In 2021, she graduated from the Dawson College Professional Theatre Program. There, she received the First Year Achievement Award, the Valerie Marino Rookie of the Year Award, and the Cynthia Hendrickson Memorial Award. In the spring of 2025, she completed her BFA in Concordia's Performance Creation Specialization.
I am BEYOND THRILLED to have Vass on board and cannot WAIT to share this next episode which will feature her voice. WELCOME TO THE TEAM VASS!! 🥳

New equipment all thanks to our Patreon subscribers!
Putting those Patreon bucks to good use! I finally have a proper audio interface. WOOHOO!! "But Mark, what the HELL is an audio interface??" Basically it allows me to control the input/output of my recordings. Meaning a much cleaner sound (just tested it and it sounds GREAT) and NO MORE CLIPPING! Meaning I can shout and yell to my hearts content without blowing out the sound. Something I've avoided in the past, but NO MORE!
Also had to get a XLR mic to go with it because it don't work those crummy USB mics.
